# Exchange OAuth Code

> Exchange a GitHub OAuth code for an access token

Exchanges a GitHub OAuth authorization code for an access token.

### Body

**code** `string` *required*

The authorization code received from the OAuth callback.

### Response

Returns the GitHub access token response.

**access\_token** `string`

GitHub access token.

**token\_type** `string`

Token type (usually `bearer`).

**scope** `string`

Granted OAuth scopes.
