# Create Sandbox

> Create a new Daytona sandbox

Creates a new Daytona sandbox for the authenticated user.

**Authorization** `string` *required*

Bearer token. `Bearer <github_token>`

**name** `string` *required*

Sandbox name.

**taskDescription** `string`

Description for AI display name generation.

**template** `string` (default: yolocode)

Template name.

**gitHubRepo** `string`

GitHub repo to clone (`owner/repo`).

**githubToken** `string`

GitHub token for repo access.

**claudeCredentials** `object`

Claude OAuth credentials.

**repositorySetup** `object`

Setup config with `environmentVariables`.

Response includes `id`, `name`, `displayName`, `status`, `host`, `claudeHost`.
